The head is dusted with a iridescent blue to give a blue sheen to the bait. If this was not a great fish catching pattern (which it is) it would be a great bait to display for your friends to see. The eyes are 3-D molded gold eyes that make the lure come alive. The lure is brand new in the original box, it has only been opened to paint, original hooks and split rings will be reattached before shipment. I use only the highest quality paints and the strongest, toughest clear coat around.
