Bass fishing has a fascinating history. It began in the late 18th Century and still continue to progress.

It was probably also originally practiced in search for food among the people in the southern United States. Since then it has begun to attract large audiences of all ages and nations. Today, participate in countries such as Australia, Cuba, South Africa, USA and most parts of Europe in this type of event.

Some species of fish that are caught in the Bass Fishing Club are:

Micropterus salmoides • (Lacepede) - Largemouth
• Micropterus dolomieui - Smallmouth
• Micropterus punctatus - Kentucky Bass
