bass fishing: guide to matching hook size to plastic worm?
Is this a manual online that can tell me to use what type / size hook to certain size plastic worms? I "m looking to catch bass 1-3 pounds with medium-sized worms, not sure what size hook to use ... Any advice? Thanks.

What works fine for me is a 3 ought hook. This is the size that I have the best results with.
hey man, a number 3 worm hook is a good all around worm hook. i like the hooks that come with the weights already built onto them. you dont have to put a bullet weight on your line and with the weight on the hook, i think that it gives a more realistic movement to the worm. man i hope that helps you out a bit good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the experience
I would stick with a 4/0 or a 5/0 offset hook. They work great with frogs, tubes, worms and craws. You always want a good size hook in your plastics so there will be plenty of room for the bass to get hooked when it strikes.
yeah man you got some good tips here and they are all right definatly get a size 3 thats all you need great all rounders
6″ worm with a 2/0 or 3/0 offset shank worm hook.
but for the life of me, why aren’t you looking to catch the 10 pounders?
I’ve always used a 2/0 offset hook with a 5″ or 7″ worm.
